The Quimper Earthenware Museum is exhibiting the new sculptures from my “À nouveau” series.
Exhibited within the Quimper earthenware museum, surrounded by remarkable works, this work on the molds of the now-defunct Fouillen earthenware factory refers to a play with time and heritage references.
Sometimes diverted, segmented, raised on pedestals, presented in fragments or complete, a back and forth between the past and the present takes place, a relationship between the known and recognized object is established.
Realities overlap.
These sculptures attempt to recreate a link, a dialogue with the artisan modelers, by paying them a sincere tribute.
